NEW ORLEANS WILL is a campaign created by the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau to advocate for the hospitality and tourism industry. Tourism is the city’s largest industry employing more than 80,000 New Orleanians and generating billions of dollars for our local and regional economy. NEW ORLEANS WILL is raising awareness amongst locals that while visitors may come and go, their dollars stay here — and ripple through the community to fund city services, police, schools, people salaries, and ultimately, improve the quality of life for every New Orleanian.
We love our city. We love our way of life. And so does the world. Those visitors from all over the world are our city’s single greatest resource. Investing in that resource means more money for jobs, roads, schools, safer streets and a better quality of life.
You are New Orleans, and you can make a difference. It’s as simple as staying informed and supporting tourism. Spread the word to your neighbors and be welcoming to all our visitors. They bring gifts. You can also become a part of NEW ORLEANS WILL, and here’s how:
